Don’t Eat The Following Meals Before A Date!
If you eat these meals before a date, even a deodorant won’t be able to help you!
Sweat has an unpleasant smell, and some ingredients we eat only increase the odor. Here’s what foods you should avoid before going out on a date:
1. Green vegetables
Cabbage, kale, broccoli and Swedish turnip are healthy vegetables, but can also be the cause for intensified sweat odor. These vegetables contain a large amount of Sulphur which contains compounds that break down in the body when digested and increase the intensive smell of sweat. The strongest odor is felt about an hour after eating them, and it disappears about 6 hours afterwards.
2. Red meat
Red meat is rich in proteins that are slowly digested in the body. During digestion, certain amino acids from red meat leave sediments in our intestines which are later excreted through sweat, and when they come in contact with the bacteria on the skin surface the sweat gets an intense and unpleasant smell. The odor will reach its peak about two hours after your meal, and will stay for the whole day, maybe more!
3. Blue fish
This type of fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin B8 which is responsible for increased sweat odor. Besides B vitamins, blue fish contain L-carnitine, a substance also present in eggs which is also responsible for increased body odor. Even if you shower, the unpleasant smell may stick to your body for the next 24 hours.
