In 2005, an experiment was performed on the English Ivy plants by the American college of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. They showed that this plant could remove 78% airborne mold and 94% airborne feces in 12 hours. Thus, it will definitely help anyone fall asleep.

This plant grows easily. It requires only moderate sunlight. It can be planted in a hanging basket from where it will grow like a vine.

It should definitely be planted at home to sleep better. Take care to keep it out of reach of children and pets since it is toxic.

9. Peace Lily:


This is also an easy growing plant. It needs to be watered once in a week and kept in a nice, shady place. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

You can surely manage these things if you get a good night’s sleep in return. Apart from looking beautiful, this plant filters out toxins such as formaldehyde, trichloroethylene and benzene from the air. This has been described as a superstar by NASA.

10. Bamboo Palm:

An easy plant to grow, you only need to keep the soil moist and don’t place it in direct sunlight. It is an exotic plant and you will get a tropical feel in your bedroom.
