Most Effective Ways to Get Rid of Skin Tags!

3 years

Skin tags are small, flesh-colored growths that can develop on anyone at any time. They’re so common that 40%+ of all adults will get them at some point in their life. This will result in just one or two small tags which won’t normally be a problem, unless they’re in a highly-visible position or you unintentionally irritate them.

They are known medically as acrochordons, but this is not a widely-used term. Tags commonly appear on the face or body, where friction occurs. These include the neck, back, armpit, groin, around the eyes, testicles, anus, and under the breasts.

Friction may be caused by rubbing due to jewellery, clothing, or skin-on-skin contact. There are also other factors, such as hormones, carrying excess weight, age, and genetics that play a part. Nobody fully understands why skin tags occur.

We now reveal the most effective ways to get rid of skin tags:

For the safe removal of skin tags, you can’t go wrong with Tea tree oil. It is 100% natural and highly effective. It is used by many people because of its ability to safely and quickly get rid of skin tags. The other advantage is that it’s easily affordable.

This oil is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and has many other natural medicinal properties, which makes it a great choice to safely remove a skin tag. You won’t have to risk any kind of infection, or be in any pain or discomfort.

It is easy to use, also. All that you have to do is to soak a small cotton swab with it, and gently apply it to the tag a few times a day. In a few weeks, the tag will dry up, die, change color, and fall off on its own. It is that easy.

While it may not be as fast as other skin tag removal techniques, it is definitely the safest and easiest method. This is important if your tag is in a visible or sensitive area, such as the face or groin, because there’s no risk of scarring.

This juice can be used for a wide array of skin issues, including skin tags. Take a dandelion with the stem and extract the juice from the stem by squeezing it. A milky liquid comes out and you apply this liquid directly to the skin and then cover the area with a band-aid to keep it in place. Do this up to four times a day, making sure to thoroughly cleanse and dry the skin between applications. This works to dry out a skin tag so that it falls off. Do not use this remedy if you are allergic to daisies, marigolds, ragweed, chrysanthemums and other similar plants because there is a chance that if you are allergic to one of these you will also be allergic to dandelions.

Lemon juice is a powerful antiseptic and it also contains citric acid which helps to dry out skin tags by decomposing the cells. Take a half of a fresh lemon and apply the juice to a cotton ball. Apply this directly to the skin tag and leave it on without washing it off. You can apply this up to three times a day and continue the routine until the skin tag falls off.

Apple cider vinegar is able to destroy the skin tag tissue so that it goes away completely. Take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and soak a cotton ball with this. Apply it to the skin tag after completely cleansing the skin and drying it. Make sure to squeeze the cotton ball while you massage the skin tag so that the skin tag is saturated with the vinegar. This can be done three times a day until the skin tag is gone. Keep in mind that apple cider vinegar is acidic and it can cause some mild itching and stinging for a few minutes when you do this treatment. To minimize these effects dilute the vinegar with some water before doing the treatment.

Fresh garlic has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties which help to improve skin health and dry out skin tags. You need four fresh garlic cloves and then ground these up into a paste and apply the paste directly to the skin. Place a bandage over this to keep the paste in place.
