Learn HOW to ELIMINATE parquet chips

Before knowing how to remove floor fleas in the house , learn it a little more on chips: First, floor fleas reproduce usually in a hot, confined space. (summer when you leave the house for the holidays is a great time!), they can not live in the presence of live hosts, meanwhile, are able to slow down their metabolism for long periods. It will resume their cycle at the slightest vibration produced by the return of occupants. A chip saw a few days to a few weeks depending on the ambient activity and temperature, the female lays 6-8 eggs after each “meal”, it can go very fast, so it is important to intervene quickly.

The weak point bullets

The chip comes out of its egg to larva, at this stage, it is very sensitive to heat … In short she dies above 60 °, it gives us a track to eradicate flea larvae , but how done to remove adult fleas ?

Eliminate the floor flea (larvae and adults)

As we saw above, the chips have a fast reproduction mechanism in relation to their short lives, even if they have the ability to lengthen their life when the environment is not conducive to their development. First, it will eliminate the adult fleas.  This method used to eliminate termite is also very effective against fleas:

– Spend your floor to the essence of pure thérébenthine (you can also dilute with a little wax), it is important to ventilate the room during and after the operation. This process is a bit restrictive, but easy and cheap to produce once a year, in spring, for example (it will also play a preventive role against fleas). Turpentine penetrating directly into the parquet floor will kill the fleas and eggs dry out at the same time.

– Let air a day after the above treatment, then clean your floor with a steam cleaner (you can mix 10% alcohol vinegar in your water for more efficiency), heat treatment that causes it (the above 60 °), will kill any flea larvae that have withstood the first operation.

And you are rid of fleas, bravo!
