Your Bread is Turning Into a Brick? Here’s a Simple Trick How to Revive It

Your bread has started down that inevitable path of turning into a brick only good for (maybe) making croutons. It might not be too late to save your stale bread, though. All you need is an ice cube and a quick pop in the oven.

This is what you do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Rub an ice cube or drizzle some water over the crust of the bread until it’s damp.
  3. Wrap it in aluminum foil.
  4. Put it in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Other alternatives include zapping the bread in the microwave with a paper towel used to cover the bread, or heating the bread on a vegetable steamer.

What you get is almost the same as freshly baked bread!
